Singles Friends October Newsletter
Happy autumn to everyone! I am looking forward to cooler weather and gorgeous fall colors.
We are in much need of new ideas and participation from each one of you in order for our club to be a success. Maybe someone would like to hoist a Get Acquainted Party in his or her home, if so let us know. If you know of a discount show that we all could go to in Branson for October, we will try to get something going there. Also maybe you have a favorite restaurant you would like for us all to go to, sometime we can do that. For these events we need someone that would volunteer to call others to get these things together or send out emails. Also we need the names of people who could provide rides and those who would need rides. One person simply cannot keep this club going. It will take all of us working together for it to be a success.
Remember the December Newsletter will be my last newsletter and unless we have a much better response this month and the November and December newsletters will be combined. Please contact me at 870-423-5829 if you would be willing to write the Newsletter.
Here is our list of activities for October:
Oct.6- we will meet at the Cattleman’s Restaurant for dinner at 5:30. There will be live music until 8 p.m.
Oct. 11- will be our Potluck and Game Night at the Ozark Meadows II Apartment Community Room off Cive Street. It will start at 6 p.m. Just bring food for the potluck. This is a good time to get acquainted over a game of Chicken Foot. Clive Street is between College and Hailey Road.
Oct. 19- will be music at Farmer by local musicians. Music starts around 6:30 and there will be Pot Luck at 7 p.m. Bring food for the potluck if you plan on taking part in that. Farmer is a few miles out 21 South of Berryville.
Oct. 20- is the dance in Kingston. It starts at 8 p.m. You may meet at the restaurant in Kingston at 7 p.m. for a meal then go on up to the dance. This is a good clean family dance and they have a really good band.
Also if you don’t dance, you may want to go to the Cattleman’s restaurant again to hear the Back Roads Band play and have dinner at 5:30. The band plays until 8:p.m.
Oct. 25- will be music by local musicians again at Farmer. It starts at 6:30 and is followed by a potluck, so bring food for the potluck. They have good musicians from the local area and if you play an instrument you may bring it and join the musicians.
Remember we will get out of this club exactly what we put into it. If this Club means anything to you, lets all pull together and keep it going. It is all up to us!
